Teaching Background
Melissa’s teaching experience includes 9 years of holding private studio lessons in violin, viola, cello and piano. She was a lead teacher and advocate for Point Loma’s String Project for 4 years; taught a strings class at Torrey Hills Elementary and is currently embarking on her fourth year as preferred string teacher at Bertrand's Music, Rock and Roll San Diego and Greene Music Education Center. She has experience in both group and private classes working with students of all ages!
Her creative teaching methods enables students to make learning fun and engaging while also tailoring each child's curriculum to their personal learning style.
